Your support is appreciated and necessary year round!

You can make a difference in the lives of at-risk girls and boys in Northern Virginia by supporting Space of Her Own (SOHO)’s unique mentorship and creative skills building programs that make Space of Her Own, and its boys program, Space of His Own, an award winner for its innovative youth programs.

Since Space of Her Own began in 2009, nearly 200 young people have been matched with an equal number of highly skilled, volunteer professionals, who mentor their mentee through a vulnerable time in their lives, when motivation and learning can make a substantial impact on the development of each young person. More than 98% of the young people who have entered SOHO have avoided court involvement and have gone on to demonstrate success in school.
