Q: I have a student/child that is interested in becoming a SOHO Mentee. How do they participate?
A: At present, we only accept 5th grade girls from our partnering schools: Alexandria’s Cora Kelly, Jefferson Houston, Patrick Henry, Mt. Vernon and Polk.
Q: I am interested in becoming a mentor for the upcoming school year, how do I get started?
A: We actively recruit mentors for the upcoming school year starting in late spring and throughout the summer. Please visit our mentor information page.
Q: I have furniture/supplies to donate. Where and how can I donate them?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer pick-up services for any donations and have limited storage space available for any donated items. If you have a furniture/home item available during our spring Space Transformation time (March-May), please send an email along with photos (and dimensions, if applicable) to soho@spaceofherown.org.
