10-15 Designer / Mentors:

Caterer: Given a budget, provide Thursday evening meal pick-up/delivery and clean-up; opportunity to teach mini-lessons on healthy eating, nutrition and table manners.

2-4 Tutors to assist girls with homework from 3:45-4:45 each Thursday after school. Join us for dinner afterwards!

Photographer/Filmmaker: Provide "before", "during" and "after" shots of bedrooms and film/photograph Wednesday evening art sessions. Create SOHO DVD for presentation at Celebrate SOHO Gala and distribution to girls, mentors, sponsors and future donors.

Program Evaluator: Help design program evaluation measures and track progress of past and present participants. Statistical background and experience with evaluation databases a plus!

Art Class Assistant: Provide help to girls and mentors in mixing paint colors, storing paint and cleaning brushes and work areas; assist girls in artist designs and processes.

Donation Manager: Maintain record of mentor/designer needs (dressers, beds, etc.), and work with ALIVE, Craig's list, Alexandria's Freecycle.com, etc. to acquire needed good and arrange for delivery.

Media Manager: Provide press releases that promote volunteer recruitment and fund-raising efforts. Working with SOHO managers, apply for support from the likes of Oprah, Martha Stewart, etc. SOHO graduates want to be on TV!
